Match three things on the zipper you are replacing: the tooth size (#5 is medium, #8 is heavier), the tooth shape (round or square), and the length. Buy the same length or a little longer. Every MagZip can be shortened.

• Cut-to-length zippers come 36" or 60" long with no top stop. Cut them to the length you need. A top stop is in the bag.
• Top-stopped zippers come in set lengths, ready to sew. To shorten one, add a top-stop kit.

Pick the color and style you want in a length that is the same or longer, then shorten it. If it’s top-stopped, add a top-stop kit. Cut-to-length zippers include top stops.

We restock colors, but lengths can vary and we don’t have a set schedule. Tell us what you need and we’ll email you when it’s back.

A MagZip is a full separating zipper, slider included, and installs like a regular one. A tailor or seamstress is the easy route. If you sew, see how to sew it in.

The standard ZipperBuddy fits jackets with a #5 plastic-tooth zipper, 21" to 32" long. Coil or metal zippers, or other lengths, need a Custom ZipperBuddy built to your jacket. The ZipperBuddy finder sorts it out in a minute.

No. ZipperBuddy zips onto your jacket’s own zipper. No needle, no glue. It comes off any time.

US orders: if you used our fit guide and it still doesn’t fit, we pay the return and refund it. Or put what you paid toward a Custom ZipperBuddy built to your jacket and just pay the difference.

Start with the brand or store you bought it from; they may replace it under their warranty. If they can’t help, you can buy a replacement MagZip from us.

No. MagZip sliders are made to work with the magnetic base. Other sliders may look similar but won’t work right. Replacement sliders are sold here.

Most orders ship within 3 business days from our warehouse in Victor, New York. You get tracking by email as soon as it ships.

Custom ZipperBuddies take about 2 to 3 weeks. Each one is handmade to fit your jacket, so we confirm your details first and then build it. You still get tracking by email the day it ships. Need it by a certain date? Ask us before you order.

• USA: 3 to 5 business days after shipping
• Canada: 5 to 7 business days. Canadian taxes and duties may be due on delivery.
• Other countries: usually 3 to 4 weeks, sometimes longer. Ask us about FedEx International for faster, fully tracked delivery.

Yes. Email us your carrier and account number before you order. There is a $10 handling fee.

Return unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Start it from your account: open the order and click Request return. In the US we pay return shipping. Outside the US, you pay shipping both ways. Custom ZipperBuddies can’t be returned unless we built them wrong, and then we make it right. See Returns.

Those orders follow Amazon’s or TikTok Shop’s own return process. Start the return from your order in that app.

Everything we sell has a 90-day warranty from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. If it fails because of a defect, we replace it. Normal wear, accidents and washing damage aren’t covered. See Warranty.
