Sew it in

Goes in like any separating zipper.

Measure the old zipper
Measure the length of the zipper you are replacing. Order at least that length. Longer is fine.
Cut it from the top
Trim the top to length and crimp on the two top stops from the bag. The magnetic base stays at the bottom.
Sew it in, or hand it to a tailor
Any local tailor can add a MagZip just as they would a standard separating zipper.
